February at NTS: Honoring Readiness and Celebrating Excellence

Welcome to our February news roundup! This month, we focused on honoring the specialized service of our maritime defenders, celebrating our team’s milestones, and recognizing a standout professional who embodies the NTS spirit.

Celebrating Excellence: February Employee of the Month

We are thrilled to shine a spotlight on the incredible talent within our own walls. This month, we are proud to announce that the Employee of the Month for February is Patrick Bartholomew, Systems Administrator II – PS-NOC! 🌟

Patrick’s dedication to his craft and his colleagues has made a tangible impact on our team and our clients. Here is why Patrick stood out this month:

Dedicated Problem-Solver: Patrick is known for taking client issues head-on. Recently, he spent several days working closely with a client to ensure they were not just assisted, but truly satisfied with the final resolution.

The Ultimate Team Player: Always positive and hardworking, Patrick is a joy to work with and is consistently willing to jump in and help wherever he’s needed.

A Resource for the NOC Team: As a Tier II administrator, he serves as a vital resource for escalating complex IT issues, guiding his co-workers through challenges they haven’t faced before.

With this achievement, Patrick is now officially in the running for the President’s Award at the end of the year! Join us in giving Patrick a massive round of applause for setting such a high standard for the NTS team.

Honoring Our Armed Forces

In February, we also took the opportunity to recognize a vital component of our nation’s maritime defense and the dedicated professionals who stand ready to serve at a moment’s notice.

United States Coast Guard Reserve Birthday: This month, we celebrated the anniversary of the U.S. Coast Guard Reserve, established by the Coast Guard Reserve Act of 1939.

For over 85 years, the Reserve has been a “vital force of ‘Always Ready’ professionals.”

From the mobilization of over 200,000 reservists during World War II to modern-day disaster relief and port security, the Reserve remains a cornerstone of our national security.

NTS is incredibly proud to support our Coast Guard Reservists and their families. We honor and thank every member—past and present—for their unwavering service, bravery, and dedication to protecting our shores.

Celebrating Our Team

We believe that a strong team is the heart of our success, and we always make time to recognize our employees’ special milestones.

February Staff Birthdays: We recently gathered to celebrate our staff members with February birthdays! 🎂

The team enjoyed catching up over slices of cake to mark the occasion.

We hope everyone celebrating this month had a fantastic day and felt truly appreciated for all they do.

At NTS, we remain deeply grateful for the service of our military members and the continued dedication of our staff. Thank you for being part of our journey!
