As a leading network system integrator, NTS provides an extensive range of IT solutions including network infrastructure solutions, managed services and monitoring, and mobile device management from our own Network Operations Center located within our headquarters. Our other offerings include systems migrations, technology relocations, computer hardware maintenance, mobile device management, managed print services, staff augmentation and product procurement.

Responsibilities include:

  • Analyzes client’s needs and recommends appropriate technology solutions to meet each client’s specific needs and standards.            
  • Will submit reporting of progress and pipeline status and other necessary business reports (timesheet/expense reports/CRM updates/etc.) as required with strong attention to detail. Does not repeat errors in work.
  • Ability to complete prospecting, cold calling, territory management, and follow-up to increase sales closing to meet revenue and profit goals, prioritizing work accordingly.
  • Maintains high level of visibility within the community in areas that may be beneficial to current/future sales. Escalates or seeks input from their direct Manager as needed.           
  • Must have regular and reliable attendance either on-site or remote as scheduled.
  • Coordinates marketing efforts through the VP of Marketing to drive business activity in territory/industry vertical, especially in specialized or targeted products/services.
  •  Assist with deployment of solutions with clients and interact with turnover documentation to clients when projects are completed.
  • Completes vendor training and remains current in offerings of NTS products/services as well as new technology on an ongoing basis.        
  • Develops new business and recommends sales process improvements where applicable while measuring compliance with current sales processes.
  • Demonstrates knowledge, awareness, and practice of NTS policies and procedures and conducts business accordingly. Requires the same of peers and fosters an ethical work environment by example.  
  • Will help NTS develop offerings to our clients by providing input to the Infrastructure Manager on additional services or support can further benefit our clients. 

Skills Required:

  • Requires Structured Cabling, Access Control, Security Camera, Wireless, Network, or related field; in addition to 1-3 yrs. sales experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must be able to maintain a strong work ethic through demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and monthly sales quotas.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to quickly develop rapport with customers at all levels.
  • Strong client service and mechanical reasoning skills. Ability to present information in a persuasive manner using MS Office Products.             
  • While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to stand, use hands to handle and feel, reach with hands and arms, to talk and hear. 
  • The employee is regularly required to walk. 
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. 
  • Must have demonstrated financial analysis, writing, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Maintaining a well-groomed professional appearance appropriate for the position or situation.
  • Must be able to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and make recommendations of technology solutions to achieve company goals while satisfying customer requirements.

Job Type: Exempt

Salary: $60 – $65k with a commission plan depending on experience
