As a Systems Analyst / Technology Support Specialist you will be required to provide support for a wide range of technical issues relating to the home and small business markets. The position involves troubleshooting issues relating to hardware, operating systems and applications and providing an appropriate level of advice on technical issues to a non-technical audience. You will be required to manage customer requests from receiving the initial call to resolving the issue which could involve traveling to another site or use of remote software. You must have a good driving record to be able to drive on company business on a daily basis and be able to pass a criminal background check.

Like variety in your workday? The position is hybrid – some in office, some on-site – commercial/residential, some remote, as needed depending on workload and requirements.

  • Approximately 80% of the job is similar to service desk type duties (‘my computer is running slow’, troubleshooting programs not working correctly, etc.).
  • Some clients will drop off equipment for repair and you will handle this as well.
  • Some work related to firewalls.
  • Bomgar  to support clients remotely.
  • Experience in a Managed Service Provider environment would be great.

Required Experience:

Very good knowledge of:

  • Windows 10 and other current operating systems
  • Windows networking technologies
  • PC/Server hardware
  • Understanding of MS Office Applications (Office 2013, 2016 and Office 365)
  • Active Directory
  • Good knowledge of understanding routers, switches, and other networking equipment
  • Experience with Windows Server 2012 and higher desired
  • Experience with handheld mobile devices desired
  • Keep abreast of new developments in software and hardware


  • Associates Degree or higher or equivalent work experience.
  • Outstanding customer service skills.
  • Preferred Certifications:
    • HDI
    • ITIL
    • A+
    • Network+
    • Security+
    • Any current certification from: Microsoft, Cisco, Brocade, Sophos, Mitel, Veeam, Xirus, etc…

Because of the changing nature of our business, your job description will inevitably change. You will from time to time, be required to undertake other activities of a similar nature that fall within your capabilities as directed by management.

Salary:  $55k – $65k
