Inspiring the Next Generation of Tech Leaders

A major highlight of October was our engagement with students at Virginia State University, where we shared insights on the dynamic world of technology.

Guest Speaker at Virginia State University (VSU): On Thursday, October 30th, Sam Panicker, our CISO/CTO, had the incredible opportunity to speak to a packed auditorium of students at VSU.

• He discussed the real-world impact these innovations have on our daily lives.

Advocating for Full Inclusion in the Workforce

October provided an important opportunity to underscore our commitment to a diverse and equitable workplace.

National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM): October is recognized as NDEAM, an observance dedicated to recognizing the value and talent that individuals with disabilities bring to every sector of our economy.

• This yearly focus underscores the economic and social necessity of full inclusion across all industries, including those with non-obvious disabilities and mental health conditions.
• NTS urges fellow employers and leaders everywhere to commit year-round to equitable hiring practices, accessible environments, and a culture of genuine respect.
• Let’s work together to ensure every American has the opportunity to contribute their full talent.

Recognizing Our Nation’s Heroes

Our deep gratitude for the military community was evident this month as we recognized key anniversaries and special observances.

The United States Navy Birthday: Today, October 13th, marks the official birthday of the U.S. Navy.

• We honored the establishment of the Navy in 1775 and recognized its many years of maritime service, dedication, and global influence.
• We salute the sailors, past and present, who have defended our freedom on the world’s oceans. NTS proudly supports all who serve and have served in the United States Navy.

National Day of the Deployed: October 26th marks the official National Day of the Deployed.

• This powerful tribute honors the courageous men and women of our armed forces who are currently deployed, have been deployed, or will be deployed in service to our nation.
• It acknowledges the immense and quiet sacrifices made by these service members and their families who serve alongside them.
• NTS proudly supports all deployed personnel and their families, recognizing their profound contributions across the globe.
